Golan Mergui is a partner at Taylor Mergui. He is a civil litigator focusing in serious injury litigation. He has been described by peers and clients alike as tough, loyal and compassionate. Golan received a B.A. in Psychology in 1998 from McGill University, subsequently received an LL.B. (Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa in 2001, and was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in September of 2002. He is currently completing the Chartered Insurance Professional program offered by the Insurance Institute of Canada.
Golan has devoted his entire career helping victims of accidents in a wide variety of personal injury litigation, including claims for motor vehicle accidents, Accident Benefits, long-term disability, medical malpractice and slip and falls. He has successfully litigated more than a 1000 cases over the last 15 years of practice. He frequently appears at all level of courts and has appeared at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, Social Benefits Tribunal and the Canadian Pension Plan Tribunal.
