About Muniza Kabir

Muniza Kabir is an Articling Student at Taylor & Mergui and in the process of becoming a dual-licensed lawyer.

She completed her LLB from University of London, UK and her LLM from Queen Mary University of London, UK, with a Distinction. Muniza was also called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2016, and is a Member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn. In 2021, she completed the Negotiation and Conflicts Management Program at Harvard Law School, which enhanced her negotiation skills and techniques.

As a Legal Associate in Bangladesh, she practiced Public Interest Litigation (PIL) and Civil Litigation for 2 years. Muniza worked on PILs that received landmark judgments by the Supreme Court and facilitated the development of National Guidelines with multi-disciplinary stakeholders. She was also part of a Supreme Court product liability claim that was brought against an international coffee chain, Gloria Jeans Coffees, from which, considerable amount of damages were recovered.

In her spare time, she loves painting abstracts, playing basketball, baking and singing. Muniza is fluent in English, Bengali, Hindi and Urdu.
